State Earnings Related Pension Scheme (SERPS)

If you reached state pension age before 6 April 2002 and your national insurance record included over 30 years of national insurance contributions, you may receive an additional amount of state pension under the State Earnings-Related Pension Scheme. Any additional entitlement built up under this scheme will not be lost even though the scheme is no longer available.
