Matched Giving
Before you pay in, if you are employed it might be worth checking with your manager to ask if there is a matched giving initiative you could use.
Matched giving is where your employer doubles or tops up your fundraising total. Not everywhere does this but it can make a big difference, so it’s always worth asking! Get in touch if you have any questions or need any info.

Gift Aid
If your donors or sponsors are UK taxpayers, don’t forget to ask them to Gift Aid their donations. By adding Gift Aid, we can make 25p for every £1 given. This means even more money goes towards helping people who are struggling to get by – and it doesn't cost you a penny.

How your actions help UK families struggling to keep up with their bills
- £50 could help 10 families who are experiencing financial insecurity receive vital information and support via our helpline during a challenging time.
- £100 could support a family to buy a new cooker so they can feed their children cooked meals.
- £200 can help cover a week’s worth of groceries for two families struggling to keep food on the table.
- £500 could provide a grant to help towards paying the rent, keeping a roof over the head of someone in need.
