As an academic society we wanted to align ourselves with a charity that works towards causes we believe in and makes a positive impact on the community. Given the work Turn2us has done over the past few years… and the circumstances the whole of UK is facing with cost of living, we decided it best reflected what we stand for.

- £50 could help 10 families who are experiencing financial insecurity receive vital information and support via our helpline during a challenging time.
- £100 could support a family to buy a new cooker so they can feed their children cooked meals.
- £200 can help cover a week’s worth of groceries for two families struggling to keep food on the table.
- £500 could provide a grant to help towards paying the rent, keeping a roof over the head of someone in need.
