Go Orange for Turn2us
Make a brighter future and fight financial insecurity.
Right now, one in five adults and one in three children are living with poverty, struggling to afford the basics such as food, rent or heating. It’s time to change that.
This Challenge Poverty Week, show you believe everyone should have enough to live with dignity - and stand with us against UK poverty.
How you Go Orange for Turn2us is up to you! Lots of people will be wearing orange and donating during the week, but using orange as your theme, you can take on any challenge of your choosing. You could:
- wear something orange for a day – a whole outfit or a statement accessory - donate, get sponsored or just raise awareness. Ask your work, school and loved ones to get involved to raise even more.
- hold a fundraising cake bake with an award-winning orange cake – this classic fundraiser will get a great rise (!) for your fundraising total!
- get sponsored to dye your hair everyone's favourite citrus colour – or wear an orange wig for the day!
- organise a raffle – another fundraising classic! Wrap prizes with ribbon to spread the orange.
Whatever you get up to, every penny you raise will help to stop people from being swept into poverty and fight financial insecurity in the UK. Across our services, we offer almost 24,000 moments of support every single day for people living with financial insecurity. But we cannot tackle financial insecurity or solve the issue of UK poverty alone – we need your support.
