Turn2us Impact and Programmes Committee

Turn2us is looking to recruit, on a volunteering basis, two new, independent, members of the Impact and Programmes Committee, a sub-committee of the Board of Trustees.

At an exciting time for the Charity, with a new strategy and purpose being launched in 2020, we are looking to recruit two new committee members with lived experience of financial shocks and hardship. You will be willing to bring your insights from your experience to contribute to conversations about the development of programmes/impact that we aim to have for and with people dealing with financial hardship.

You may also bring professional/voluntary experience that will help us to drive our organisational thinking in any of these areas:

• Working in partnership

• Designing programmes/responses for/with people who are affected by issues of social justice

• Academic insights

• Understanding of the complexity of people’s lives who are coping with financial hardship.

Turn2us firmly believes that in order to have the best impact we can have, our leadership needs to be diverse.

We encourage applicants who feel they can bring diverse experiences and views which will represent the different communities of people we strive to support.

Meetings

Your commitment would be four meetings a year in Hammersmith, London and your expenses will be paid to attend the meetings. The position is not paid.
