Turn2us at the Vitality 10K Run
This week saw the Vitality 10,000 meter run. We are hugely indebted to the amazing supporters who run to raise funds for Turn2us and help people struggling financially.
Our magnificent team of seven were: Oscar Lagatta, Douglas Ogisi, Navin Sadarangani and Gabrielle Ravanelli all from Harvey Nicholls, Menno Faulkner from Positive and Zena Carter and Chris Smith from Turn2us.
Our team was also boosted by 7 more own place runners from Richmond Park and all 14 runners sported our striking new Turn2us running vests.
We are really grateful to everyone who turned out to run for Turn2us. Menno Faulkner said: “I’m still waiting for the official time but think my aging bones carried my post nuptial belly around this great 10K in under 50 minutes – happy with that. I’m delighted to have been able to run for this great cause.”
Feel inspired? If you’re a regular runner, you’ve still got time to prepare for the Great North Run. The UK’s largest half marathon takes place on Sunday 11 September in Newcastle and Turn2us still has a few places left - you can find out more on our Get Involved section or contact Micky Forster on 020 8834 9271.
