Elizabeth Finn Homes scoops another award
Elizabeth Finn Homes Limited (EFHL) has won the ‘Best Small Group Food Service Employer’ category at Caterer.com’s Best Employers in Hospitality Awards 2015. The ceremony took place at London’s Lancaster Hotel on 12th October 2015. It was attended by over 500 hospitality representatives from employers across the UK, who came together to celebrate and reward the very best hospitality employers, as judged by their employees.
Now in their fifth highly successful year, Caterer.com Best Employers in Hospitality Awards are the only established, recognised and free to enter employer awards in the hospitality industry. The awards are judged via employee responses to an online engagement survey from engagement experts People Insight, measuring how well employers support, develop and reward their people.
The category winners were announced by Strictly Come Dancing’s co-host Claudia Winkleman.
Carolynne Miller, Chief Executive of EFHL, said: "We pride ourselves on providing the highest standards to our residents and this can only be done through our dedicated team of highly skilled staff, whether they work in catering, housekeeping or care.
“They all go the extra mile for our residents and this is a reward for their marvellous effort.
“I am tremendously proud of all of our catering teams who work so hard to provide exceptional meals to our residents. This award is a wonderful accolade to them all.”
This latest achievement comes after two of EFHL’s homes – Halliwell in Tunbridge Wells and Grove Court in Woodbridge – were recognised for the second time as among the best in the UK; winning the ‘Beacon’ status as part of the Gold Standards Framework last month.
EFHL is a wholly-owned part of the charity Turn2us. It operates a group of nine award winning care homes in England and 10 alms houses near Birmingham.
