Our volunteers play a vital role in getting help to those most in need. Our team of 241 volunteers provide a priceless lifeline to some of the most vulnerable people in our communities.
53% of our volunteers have been with us for 5-15 years, and another 24% have been here 15-25 years.
We are so proud and thankful for this longstanding commitment .
Nicola Silver, our Volunteer Support Officer said: “I am able to see the effect that our volunteer visitors have on those living in financial hardship first hand.
“I really enjoy interacting and getting to know the visitors and love hearing little snippets about their lives, whether it’s an update on their latest gardening project or the weather in their part of the country!
“As someone who has been an active volunteer in the past, it’s great to see how valued the visitors at Turn2us are, how much time is invested into their training and the emphasis on them knowing the crucial role they play in the charity.
“Volunteers are at the forefront of Turn2Us and without them, the charity couldn’t help nearly as many people in financial hardship, all across the UK.”
