Bus concessions

England

If you have a disability, you may be able to get free bus travel throughout England. These passes, often called a Disabled Person’s Freedom Pass, are provided by your local council. Usually, they let you travel for free during off-peak hours on weekdays and all day on weekends and bank holidays.

Visit the GOV.UK site for more details or to apply.

Wales

If you have a disability, you may be able to get free bus travel throughout Wales and the border regions. If you qualify, a companion can also travel with you for free.

Visit the Transport for Wales website for more details and to apply.

Scotland

If you're over 60, or have a disability, you could be eligible for free or subsidised travel to get around Scotland and your local area.

Visit the Transport Scotland website, for more information on Concessionary travel in Scotland..

Northern Ireland

You get free travel if you are registered blind and half-price travel if you get certain disability-related benefits in Northern Ireland.
